Today the blackboard sign outside my local coffee shop read: "All Americans now welcome!". The first thing I did this morning, before wiping the sleep out of my eyes, was check the BBC on my laptop. A text pinged from my sister declaring she now wanted dual US nationality after seeing a speech I have yet to watch. And the Americans at work have stopped pretending to be Canadian and have bought cakes in for breakfast.
Now let's see what happens next.
